The Challenge

This chiropractor had the expertise and services to help more patients across New Orleans, but the practice was not getting enough visibility in Google when people searched for chiropractic care.

Organic traffic and rankings were not reaching their full potential, making it harder to consistently attract qualified local patients through search.

We also saw an opportunity beyond traditional rankings. As Google increasingly incorporates AI into the search experience, the website needed to be optimized not only to rank higher, but also to become more visible in AI-generated answers and emerging search experiences.

The goal was simple: increase qualified visibility, attract more potential patients, and turn organic search into a reliable growth channel.

Our Approach

We built a focused chiropractic SEO + AI SEO strategy designed to turn search visibility into potential patient opportunities.

  • Local SEO: Strengthened the website’s relevance for New Orleans chiropractic searches and location-based intent.
  • On-page SEO: Optimized key service pages, content, titles, headings, internal links, and topical relevance around high-value chiropractic searches.
  • Content strategy: Created and optimized helpful, patient-focused content targeting informational and commercial search intent.
  • Technical SEO: Improved the site’s crawlability, structure, and overall search performance.
  • AEO & GEO: Structured content to provide clear, authoritative answers that can be surfaced in Google’s AI-powered search experiences and generative search results.
  • Ongoing optimization: Used Google Search Console performance data to identify ranking opportunities and continuously refine the strategy throughout the 6-month campaign.

Our Results

GSC performance report of chiropractor - crazygraph

After 6 months of SEO execution, the chiropractor saw substantial growth in both organic search visibility and traffic.

Google Search Performance Previous 6 Months Campaign Period Growth
Total Clicks 1.79K 2.76K +54%
Total Impressions 246K 505K +105%
Average Position 13.5 10.4 Improved by 3.1 positions
Average CTR 0.7% 0.5% More visibility at scale

The biggest win was visibility. Search impressions more than doubled, increasing from 246K to 505K, while organic clicks grew by 54%, reaching 2.76K clicks.

The average ranking position also improved from 13.5 to 10.4, moving the site substantially closer to Google’s first-page results. That matters for a local chiropractor because higher visibility for service and treatment searches creates more opportunities to turn searchers into website visitors and, ultimately, new patient inquiries.

Growing Visibility in Google’s AI Search

The SEO campaign also expanded the client’s presence across Google’s emerging Generative AI features. In just 3 months, the site generated approximately 40K impressions in Google’s Generative AI features report.

This gives the practice another valuable source of search visibility beyond traditional blue-link rankings, helping position the chiropractor where patients are increasingly discovering and evaluating healthcare information.

In short: We helped the New Orleans chiropractic practice move from limited organic visibility toward more than half a million Google search impressions, 2.76K organic clicks, stronger average rankings, and 40K Generative AI feature impressions. The result was a broader search presence designed to capture more potential patients throughout their search journey.

Methodology

How we measure AI visibility

What every number in Beaconly means, how it’s calculated, and where its limits are.

Which AI we ask

  • Gemini, through Google’s official Gemini API. Right now Gemini answers from its own knowledge, without live web search, so answers don’t list sources.

  • Every question is asked as a fresh conversation, with no memory or personal history, set to the market (country) you chose.

What we ask

The questions a buyer would ask when looking for what you sell — like “best CRM for a small agency”. We write starter questions from your website; you can edit, delete or add your own. Questions don’t include your brand name, so we measure whether AI brings you up on its own.

Mentioned

Your brand counts as mentioned when its name, one of its other names you added, or its website address appears in the answer as a whole word. The same rule applies to every competitor, so the comparison is fair.

Position

The order in which tracked brands are first named in the answer: 1 means you were named before any tracked competitor. We show how often you’re named first, 2nd–3rd, later, or not at all.

Recommended

Mentioned and described positively. A separate AI step reads each answer and rates how it talks about each brand: positive, neutral or negative.

Visibility and small samples

Visibility is the share of answers that mention you. With fewer than 20 answers a percentage can mislead (1 answer changes it by 20 points), so we show the count instead — for example “3 of 5”.

Perception scores

We ask the AI to compare you with your competitors on the traits you choose, then score what the answer says about each brand from 1 to 10, using only the answer — not our own opinion. “What AI says about you” groups the reasons AI recommends you, its criticisms, and who it prefers instead, counted across your latest tracked answers.

Brand facts check

We ask the AI about your brand directly and compare each factual claim with the facts you gave us. Claims your facts don’t cover are marked “not covered”, never “wrong”.

AI traffic

The snippet on your site counts visits whose referrer is an AI assistant (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and others), or that carry ChatGPT’s utm_source tag. Some apps hide the referrer, so the real number is usually higher. No cookies are used and no IP addresses are kept.

Page watch

We re-read the pages you watch once a day and look for your brand name, other names, or website address in the page text. Some sites block automated visits; we tell you when we can’t read a page.

Answers vary

AI assistants give different answers to the same question, and API answers can differ from what a signed-in person sees in the app (memory, location, model updates). That’s why we track over time and link every question so you can ask it yourself.
